Herman the German Giant bunny

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=533 13018

This Hans guy is so adorably funny! What a sweet old German farmer. He loves his humongous bunny so much that he made him a Myspace!

Herman the rabbit is a former media darling because he's so big. He's a pet rabbit, though, not a stock rabbit. He's a local celebrity in his village. Herman's Papa, Hans, is not the same man who sold German Giant rabbits to North Korea to breed for food. Just to make sure you know.

There was another German man who sold a family of German Giant rabbits to the North Korean government to breed for food because they have chronic shortages. Problem is (or so I've heard) that N. Korea is very secretive, and word on the street is that the rabbits were served up at a banquet for politicians and government officials and were not bred as they were intended to be for sustainable food source.

I think it's terribly upsetting that people would eat bunnies! :'(

The link does not work for me but I think that I have seen this giant bunny you are referring to before. I loved his feet.

The link didn't work for me either - but I've seen that profile before. My bunnies have a myspace page too and I'm pretty sure the gaint bunny is on their friends list

Oh my! lol It might sound like thunder. XD That would be a seriously big thump.

How high do you think he could jump? If average sized Dutch bunnies can jump something like 6 times their height, what about Herman? O_O Maybe he's too heavy to jump really high. But then, I would think his legs would still be proportional (just look at those big feet) and could launch him pretty high up in the air.

lol! Poor girl bunny, yeah. I'm pretty sure they can breed, cause I looked up German Giants on Google and some other guy in Germany was breeding them like I said to send to North Korea. Some sites say that he backed out of the deal now cause it's been heard that the first shipment of bunnies were eaten by government officials instead of set up as a farm for food for the poor.

I'm glad Herman is a pet! It even says on his Myspace that he's not the same rabbit who was in the news for the North Korea thing and it's mean to sentence them to bunny farms for food.
