How do your bunnies communicate...

Having 2 bunnies has made me relize that not all bunnies communicate in the same ways!

Zeus is very vocal, especially with Barnaby. I've never been around a bunny that talked so much. He makes all these diffrent little grunting noises, it's so funny. He's always been talkative, but since I bonded him and Barnaby it's really increased. I even took him to the vet to make sure nothing was wrong he was doing it so much. And Zeus has his special ways of communicating with me that usually involves his teeth, lol. He doesn't bite me hard, just enough to get my attention, usually to tell me to move out of his way or to give him the treat I'm holding.

Barnaby, on the other hand, is very gentle with everyone/thing. He doesn't make noise like Zeus does, and if he wants my attention he'll gently brush against me or hop up onto my lap.

If Smudge wants something, he'll head butt me and nudge me until I finally give it to him! If he wants attention he'll sniff you or gently nudge you or hop in you lap. And when he likes being pet in the spot your scratching he'll lick you! And my favorite... when hes really happy happy or tired he'll tip over and land onhis side to sleeep. I acually thought he died a few times he did that!

Oreo is very vocal and makes bizzare sounds... Whe he gets his veggies he sounds like a person laughing...

Neither of my boys make a lot of noise! They kind of chatter to eachother and grunt etc its so cute to watch but to me they both nudge or lick me! Neither one has EVER bitten me which i am pleased about! They both hop on and off of my lap and come on command! I love my bunny boys soooooooo much!!

The two rabbits I have now don't live together (Elvis can't be with other rabbits due to serious aggression problems). But they both communicate with me differently . If Fiona wants attention she'll shake the door of her cage...if I don't come over she'll end up opening it herself . She's also the kind of rabbit who will just jump onto your lap to be petted.

Elvis is more pushy and if I'm in his way he'll nudge me (but more aggressively then the other rabbits, hehe). If I don't move for some reason he will sometimes give me a nip but that's rare now. Oh, and if he wants attention he'll pull on my pant legs. Hehe. It's cute but scares me sometimes if I don't know he's there .
