Question

I am puzzled?!

I rescued a rabbit from the S.P.C.A a couple of weeks ago and he is doing something that I have never seen before.First of all he is eating good ,has a healthy coat and appears to have nothing medically wrong with him.The vet is even puzzled.
This is what he is doing;when he tries to stand up on his two back legs to wash his face he just tips over backwards!? It is so strange and I have never ever seen anything like this .The vet that I took him to is perplexed. There seems to be nothing wrong that he can find .Has anyone got any ideas of what this strange condition might be ?Thanks any kind of input or advice would be great

He does not hurt himself because he is in a large cage with alot of bedding in it .He seems to be getting a little better .Not doing it as much .The only thing that we can figure is that by being confined to a small cage ,where he did not even have enough room to stretch out .So we thought that maybe he had bad muscle tone, from not getting any excersise .

that is what I was going to say if he was in a shallow cage before he might not have had the room to stand up before there for muscles were shortened and now are longating ... hope he is all well now
