I have baby bunnies!
Not technically! But today these kids were playing wiffleball in our yard and came a cross 4 baby bunnies in a hole. We kicked the kids out and an hour later a Mom bunny came and had the kids follow her out! (It was today's big adventure)

Boy, you saved yourself on that one! I was getting ready to jump up on the Mom/Wildlife Soapbox!! I'm glad that their Mom came to get them out of harms way.
People used to call me with "baby bunnies" that they had chased all over their yard to rescue then want me to take them and do something with 'em. If they are up and running, let 'em rip!

Oh how cute. Great thinking Capn. Out of all baby animals baby bunnies, to me, are the cutest things alive! Huge Elmira complex with the baby bunnies

Baby bunnies are cute - but they stress out easier than any one of us and their stress doesn't lead to good things!
Of course you all know my favorite in the baby wildlife category is a raccoon - ain't nothing like it (unless it is already mean! Still ain't nothing like it but not in the same way!)
I applaud you for doing the right thing, Capn.

Ain't it great being a homeowner?!! I'm constantly finding frogs and lizards in our yard and I love playing with all of them. Larry Lizard spends his summers on our deck and I always look forward to seeing him.
Hubby thinks it's disgusting when he sees me pick up a frog and pet it -- doesn't know what he's missing.

Spotty - my yard is alive with lizards, too. I just love 'em (but not the same way Lizgirl does!). If they make their way into the house we just catch 'em and escort them back outside.
This is frog season I guess since we've had so much rain. I can lay in bed at night and hear them chirping (?) if the TV isn't too loud. Bubba has rescued a few from the pool and when we got the boat out to clean it there was a HUGE on living inside the cover.
What I have a hard time dealing with are the moles - especially when some lucky animal catches one and leaves half of it on the bed right where I sleep.
I'm lucky that Bubba is the same way about animals as I am. We especially like to see the little tiny baby lizards!

Wrong time of year now, Liz. I'll go through and see what I've got from last spring. These guys are actually anoles - much smaller than what you are used to!
We also have a black snake that has lived with us for some time. Actually caught sight of him sunning himself in the driveway the other day. He's cool. He keeps to himself mostly under the palm tree and I keep to mine. (I understand that these kind are not dangerous.)
