Lump under nipple after being neutered

Hello,

We recently adopted a male and female rescue rabbits, the male was neutered but not the female. After reading lots of advice on the web we decided to neuter the female.
-
after a week we noticed she was limping so took her back to the vets and £35 later we were told it was just sprained. It has now been about 4 weeks since she was neutered and we have noticed she has a lump under her nipple.
-
The whole point of neutering her was to avoid cancer, so I'm hoping this is unlikely. Is anyone aware of what else this may be and wether this is normal after a bunny has been neutered.
-
Likewise any advise of what happened when people took their rabbits to the vet with a similar problem would be very much appreciated as I dont want to put poor silvermist under the stress of going back to the vet again and to avoid being unnecassarily charged another £35 for them to tell me this is quite normal.
-
Thank you in advance
Tony

try a different vet if the same one does not give a satisfactory answer.

we do the same when a doctor does not give us a proper answer for our diagnosis.
