I'm pretty sure you could train the other ear to go down like that, too, if you wanted, by working with the cartilidge at the base of the ear. But he's so cute with the lopsided look! ^_^

We call those helicopter ears around here.
Some bunnies have them as they mature, but others do keep them like that throughout their lives.
Not to bust the bubble on the "wild bunny" thing, but N. American white tailed rabbits (The 'wild' rabbit we have here) cannot produce offspring with our domesticated rabbits, now if we were in the UK that would be different since our domestic bunnies come from their 'wild' bunnies.
Your bun's obviously a lop cross and an adorble one too! I love his coat he has great markings!

I love his color. He does look like a wild cross. I had a friend that told me her rabbit cross bred with a cottontail and I believed her. I have since learned that the domestic rabbit has 22 pairs of chromosomes and the cottontail has 21 pairs. A domestic rabbit can mate with a cottontail, but the embryos die after a few cell divisions because of the difference in the number of chromosomes.
