Mounting behavoir

Just learning about rabbits -- but old hand at dogs and cats
My 6 mo old un-neutered Mini-Rex is just starting to feel his hormones. I will have him neutered soon -- but --meanwhile -- how can I stop him from making love to my feet and ankles? I have tried thumping my foot and he stops for a minute, but then right back at it. What does the female do to discourage the male?
WabbitBabbit has the run of the house and is well litter trained and I don't want to cage him except at night.
He was tiny when I got him, and I was told he was a girl. Uh-huh!
Thanks for any help.

Welcome

I'm afraid there's not really much you can do until you get him neutered. After they're neutered, it can take awhile for their hormone levels to decrease. After that he should stop mounting everything.

Like FlickeringHope said, you can try giving him a stuffed animal to take his frustration out on, but it's not a guarantee that he'll leave your feet alone. I'd recommend getting him neutered as soon as you can.
