My bunny ate a grape...

I know that fruits can be fed to rabbits in moderation.

My rabbit ate a grape today and seemed to like it very much. Are they okay for rabbits to eat?

Yup, Grapes are a FAVORITE of my bunnies. As a treat they are fine.

I met a lady who's bunnies actually fight over grapes so she can no longer give them to her bunnies.... strange strange bunnies.

Yup, they make a great treat . But because of the high sugar content (like raisins) you shouldn't feed too many. Maybe like one a day?

My buns will still choose bananas over anything else. I never have to throw the peel in the trash because they'll eat it too. You want strange bunnies... Creeps goes for the peel before the fruit itself.

Maizee will eat just about anything- but she definitely favors te sweet fruits. She will maul you for a mango. LOL She fetches grapes, too- is too funny- she waits to hear them bounce and runs off after them. Can you call it fetch if she eats them instead of bringing them back? LOL

If you cut a banana and then freeze it is it still okay to feed them? What about the peel part? I never tried that with Tabby.

I've only used fresh bananas - I'm not sure about freezing them. But all my buns eat the peel and my vet has told me that was fine for them, especially because, like most fruits and veggies, there's a lot of fiber in the peel.

none of my buns have ever liked grapes..or banana unles its dried!! Apples are bifs favourite..the crispier and juicier the better..oscar now eats them thanks to her. My first house bun adored pears..and strawberries...as did my next housebun..
odd little things arent they..and dont they tell you what they like..worse than children!!
the only veg my two like is romainelettuce and carrots..but not the tops..and they hate broccoli and cauliflower and swede etc...but the tiny amount their tummies can handle is not much more than a hamsters portion..and you cant feeze it can you..we have a tiny greengrocers and i have been told any bits off the veg are mine for free..but romaine lettuce leaves stay in bags!!

My Sunshine will eat anything. If you're sitting on the couch with a bag of Potato Chips, she'll come jump up on you and try to get into the Chips. She loves them!!!
