My bunny Timmy
I'd like to introduce my bunny, Timmy (short for Timothy) .
I adopted him from the shelter where I volunteer. He's my first bunny. He was found as a stray behind an apt complex. I took him to the vet last week and he's perfectly healthy. The vet estimated him to be 3 yrs old.. so someone had him for a while and then dumped him??
I could have sworn he weighed like 8 lbs but he's really only 4.5. Well, he felt heavy to me..
I think he's an english lop mix. He's got 3 spots along his back and one on his tail..

What a cutie! He looks more like a hotot mix to me...Remember to be careful with feeding lettuce, too much is not good for a bunny's tummy. Try to stay away from light lettuces like Iceberg.

Oh... he's very cute! I would also say he has some Hotot in him... judging by the dark circles around his eyes.
Remember to stay clear of cabbage, iceburg lettuce, and leaves & stems from the nightshade family... i.e. tomatoe, potatoe, pepper, etc.
You can feed your bunny tomatoes, and some bell pepper if he likes it, but not the stems or leaves.... they are poisionous. Carrot tops/greens are good. And all fruit should be in moderation due to the sugar content. Only small pieces, very occassionally.
Good luck!

Now I can say that Timmy is a Hotot mix with some certainty.
Thanks for the compliments!
