One year ago today. - Paw Talk

One year ago today I found Tabby and our lives were forever changed. I pass the corner I found her every day when I go to work but today when I was returning to work after a lunch break to leave Frank and Belle out I thought how different our lives have been since that day. I immediately began researching bunnies "just in case". On the 10th it began to pay off. That is when she came home from the SPCA with me. I just cannot believe it has been a year already and yet it feels so long ago.
I remember the day. She smelled awful. The bunny savvy people I work with both agreed she was in terrible shape. Yet she was the most beautiful bunny in the world to me. I told Jay about her and was told not to bring her home. Well I didn't - on that day.
The day I did bring her home Jay was in the master bathroom and I brought her right into him. I held her up so he could get a good look. He remarked what a pretty little bunny she was. He wasn't expecting her to be so pretty. Neither of us expected her to change our lives forever. We both fell in love with her very quickly. We didn't make it through the first weekend before we decided to keep her. It was the best decision we have ever made.
Sweet Tabby Buns, I will always love you and will miss you terrible until we meet again. Thank you for your gift.

Sorry about the loss of your Tabatha. Our animals teach us so much about live. Their stay with us on this earth is always a blessing for us, no matter how short that stay is. Do you have a picture of Tabby that you could post?

I am so sorry about Tabatha. I read back to the day you got her to get to know more about her. She has been through so much but to have had you for those few months she was so fortunate to have had the care and love you gave. Bless you both....

Thanks Luckybunny but I really feel we were the fortunate ones to have her. She was amazing. Still now when I think of her I tear up with happy tears. She blessed our lives.

I am so sorry we have not posted pics yet. The doggies have had a tummy virus. They are only now getting over it and now Frankie seems to have hurt his back. It's been crazy.

at least you were able to have her and enjoy her company, even if for a short time, my beloved cat died the same day as your bunny..its something that will never be forgotten but always treasured

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to lose them but it was so worth every tear I ever have and will shed.
Today it has been one year since I brought her home. I think I am attaching two pictures of Tabby. The one of her little lips I absolutely LOVE. I hope you enjoy them.

Thank you everyone. Jewels- I haven't framed it yet. I have one of those frames you put multiple pictures in but I have to have more pictured in different sizes made. But I carry that one around in my purse for me. If I am having a bad day I take it and put it on my desk.
