Outdoor rabbit hutch question
Hi. I'm new to this board, but I'm hoping to get a few pointers on raising our rabbits. I'm going to be building an outdoor hutch for one or two of our bunnies, and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions about the best wood to use. I am currently debating between pine and douglas fir, but if there is something better to use, please feel free to post and let me know. Also, the building plans I have mention to sanitize the wood regularly. What does this mean? What should I be cleaning the wood with? Sorry my initial post is so long, but any help that can be provided will be very much appreciated. Thanks!
