YES!!!
Charlie has nested ever since we got him and he still does it to this day - and yes, he's a he and he's neutered. He has a very nice one right now that's he made from his molted fur and a shredded phone book.
When he still shared a room with Daisy, they would be let out at separate intervals (they don't get along). I would catch him take her extra fur when she molted and use it in his own nest that he was building in one of his tunnel boxes. Now he builds them in one of the corners of his pen. He'll even stash dried veggie pieces from his food and put them in his nest and eat them later - although he never uses his hay for his bed. As far as I can tell, he just makes nests because he likes to have a comfortable place to nap.
I've never heard of anyone else with such a femine male - you give me hope that Charlie isn't too weird.

Oh how cute! Charlie is not weird because he wants a nice comfy bed. Have you ever given him that bedding material they sell? Has anyone? I was wondering if I should get some. My two just lay huddled up next to each other. At least they now have a rug to lay on.

I would have a good rabbit vet double-check but males do indeed nest sometimes. Elvis, my neutered male, went through a phase where he would make nests everywhere .

I've heard of neutered males nesting, it's not real common but some do it.
Maybe there just trying to get in touch with their feminen side? hehehe

My neutered male does this but only this time of year. I thought it was a seasonal thing he did when he was getting his new winter coat! Maybe there is more than one reason for doing it.

Anyone know if theres any health issues that could cause it? i mean i its not like a sign of mites or anything is it? i looked around a little and i couldnt find anything.. he did it again last night, altho the fur was outside his cage, maybe he pushed it out be accident? i dunno, he worries me sometimes.. well all the time!
