Question

playful advice PLEASE

hi my rabbits turned 5 monthes like 2 days ago( april fools day) but now they never play with their toys anymore ( stuffed animals and paper towel tubes and a blanket and some other stuff) they used to play with them alot especially the stuffed animals, but now all they do all day is groom each other or themselves and sleep. the only time they play is when i take them to play in the backyard which is like a half an hour or more everyday, they love to go outside they get very happy, they binky ,do tricks, run, play with me ( they like it when i chase them around) eat and just explore every thing, but i cant keep them out all day so i want them to be playing also when their in their room ( its a big florida room, its the size of my room so its not like i keep them in a cage all day where they cant move or anything) so does anyone have any advice of what i should do or any cool toys that i can make for them that they'll like ( they like to chew on things alot) any advice will be appreciated
p.s
if they eat some wood is that okay ( i gave them a wooden spoon from the house. ( its made from real wood) is that okay, oreyo likes to eat evrything he plays with?

My bunny is the same way! He's not so enthusiastic about his toys at all - things only interest him if he can eat them. His favorite toy so far is a coconut! Haha, I put one in the corner of this cage and he wasn't all that into it at first. But after a few days he started scratching at it and tearing the coconut hairs off and eating them. And he'll push it around his cage, too. I think it's because it smells good? Maybe? Either way, maybe your buns would like something like that. That they can play with but smells good so it keeps them interested. I've heard stuff like wicker balls are a hit - I bet for the same reason. Buns can push them around and play with them, and at the same time chew on them and they taste and smell good.

As for chewing on wood, the only warning I've heard is if the bun is really small they could get splinters. But I think that depends on the quality of the wood, too.
