Poor, Poor Lucky Jack

So, Kayla came over last night and while Dutchie was out running around, he continued to run around Lucky's cage...Lucky kept following him and since it seemed like a game, we decided to see how the buns would do out running the living room together! So we got a spray bottle and some vicks to put on their noses and let them both out. Poor Lucky
The moment Dutchie realized Lucky was out of the cage, Dutchie went after him! But, instead of a fight breaking out, Dutchie caught Lucky and raped him!!! I mean his whole body was vibrating!!! Granted, Dutchie isn't fixed yet and Lucky is, but Lucky just sat there and took it! I tried to spray the rabbits with water to separate them, but Dutchie had a death grip on poor Lucky! My poor little bun bun has been violated! At least they didn't fight right? I don't think we'll be trying that again until Dutchie boy is fixed.
I just thought it was kinda funny and had to share.

When rabbits aren't fixed they will do that to anything that moves. Sonora used to do it to my cats! The fact that Lucky Jack didn't fight back is a good sign. After Dutchie is fixed and he mellows out, they might be able to get along.

Mandie Rodger did that to a male bunny that we had...it got so bad though that Rodger would chase me around the house trying to hump me cause I smelled like Henry!!!! Be warned girl!!!!
Oh and the fact that he took it without fighting back is great! Be warned though...Henry took it off Rodger until Henry grew up and then they fought. I learnt the hard way...poor Rodger lost all the fur of his back legs in their fight (they were caged together...my bad)
Shadow and Molly love playing with each other through the cage. Alex put them down together the other night thinking they might play together and nope...Shadow took a chuck of Molly's fur!!!
Hopefully they will get along but I'm just warning you!!!!!

they are both over it...Lucky is approximately 8-9 months and Dutchie is 2-3 years...they seemed okay though...playing through the cage bars again...
