I would suggest that you stop letting your dog chew on your rabbit. I would bite someone too if they were chewing on my ear.

I don't think the bunny enjoyed being chewed on by the dog it was probably scared!

In my experience, I wouldn't have the dogs near my bun but that's just me. My dogs try to "play", but my Bunbun doesn't understand and will try to snap at it obviously, to defend itself. When my Bunbun has play/ out time, my dogs are in another room. My cats on the other hand, get along great with Bunbun, grooming her, etc. but dogs and bunnies I wouldn't chance it. JMO. And I agree with capn, I would be darn scared if I was a bunny and dog was chasing me, and I would bite too if I was the bun!

My dog loves my rabbits!!! It took me a couple of months of training with him to get him used to them but he loves them!!! all I did was I'd bring the rabbits inside and hold the dog by his collar. The rabbits would run past him and he would try and go for them to play with them and I would just hold him tight and say gentle. I would do this for about ten minutes every day and after a couple of months I became totally confident in my dog!!! He doesn't even dig holes around their cage anymore which is excellent cause he still used to believe that if they were outside they were his toys!!! He is even gentle with my mice and when they are running around in their ball he ignores them too!!! I think it depends on the dog and you have to be presistent but if you can teach your dog to be gentle they can become the best of friends!
