rabbit fleas! - Paw Talk

anyone delt with them before? i seen a black bug in Ryo's fur. and she is itchy. sooo i bet she has fleas. i have read about avantage being safe for rabbits. anyone know about this?

I could be wrong.... but I THINK advantage is ok, but only the kitten kind. I don't know why, but i remember reading somewhere that the dog kind is bad???
I really hope you get someone who knows who they are talking about to post here before you go out and get something.

Like Dozed just mentioned, I used a spray by 8in1. My vet said it's perfectly safe and the fleas were gone in a couple days

Advantage is safe to use...it's frontline that isn't. I have used advantage for kittens on my rabbits before and it has worked like a charm!

i wonder if i need to treat the house where the rabbit has been. i know they have home carpet/furnature sprays for that....
