How cute! What a pleasant yet chilly surprise! So I'm guessing it doesn't snow much there...when's the last time it did, and stuck like that?

Toky-Ohki will become famous soon enoughToky-Ohki will become famous soon enough
Well as a matter of fact this was the first lot of snow we had which was around late January this year , but it was only two inches deep at the max and by the afternoon it was all gone.

We used to get snow regularly during the winter , but due to global warming and especialy lasty year we had lots of snow but the ground temperature was too warm so it just melted on contact , the snow last year just fell heavily from the sky and melted on contact with the ground.

This couple of times round we had a series of cold clear nights , the first time round it got down to - 3.2oC a couple of days beforehand , that was the january fall.

This recent Feburary fall the temp got down as low as - 5.3oC at my flat and was - 5.9 oC at my cousin Stuarts ( Reznik ) the night before.

Now this was most unusual according to global warming , but this was always frequant over ere in the early 90's.

We were lucky enough this time to have cold clear skies this time and the snow fell on early morning frost , the Feburary fall of snow falling two hours later at 6.am to the January 4.am short sharp dump of snow.

The Feb falling did'nt stop till 2pm that day but I could see buy 10.30 - 11.00 am that the snow on the roofs, walls and cars was begining to melt from underneath , at its best before 10.00am the snow in parts was up to 3 inches deep and 4 or 5 inces deep in divots and drifts.

This is the occasion I put Toky Ohki out to enjoy the snow at Barbara's in the pen , I laughed my head off when dropped her in because she just dissapeared into the snow < < Crunch > > , = ^ _ ^ = but she ended up having a good time and bulldozing around and eating the snow.

I did have Scneeball =^o^= out again this time round too on his harness but I did'nt take any pics this time round.

Picks of Toky-Ohki in the snow are to come.
