I went into Croydon town on the easter bank holiday Monday to search for some Power beads and to use up my gift Vouchers.
Unfortunately everything was closed however I did get the C's I was after.
On the way back through the shopping centre I just passed through I decided that I would do a good turn for easter and let schneeball out of his basket and put him on his harness, He was the Easter bunny for Fifteen minutes in Croydon town centre.
You should have seen the kiddies eyes light up, " look mum its the Easter Bunny ".
Kids that must have been as youn g as two were strokeing him and he loved it, even the young teen girls were all Ahhh's and Awww's.
A few parents got pics of Schneeball in their kiddis arms or having a stroke on the floor, one european sounding woman asked me if I had german in my family when I told her his name, she gave him some chocolate money, big mistake he fell in love with her and was climbing up all over her.
But it was not to last, soon two big burley wide men with walkey talkeys turned up * KrrrK Krrrk *," We have a Fuzzy bunny in section 5 "," im sorry the bunny has to go.
So ended Schneeballs moment of Glory, hey but it was nice to see the smile on the childrens faces as I passed through.
Trust Big buisness to ruin Easter again, I was not going to stay long anyway.
