Snowball is getting neutered today

He has been being very icky with his spraying activities and I have been looking forward to this day for two weeks! I know he'll come out just fine and all my bunnies will be free to frolick and play together.

Up until now Snowball knows Ruth by crawling under her cage and sniffing her from below. He is a spaz! Then he'd get all randy and try jumping on Pinkie then he'd spray her! Naughty bunny!
Pinkie and Ruth get along very nicely Now all three will be having free time at the same time!

That's so great!! I have to book in to get Shadow spayed.....that will be a happy day for me!! Then two more months and I can get Molly spayed and just maybe they might get along then!! Let us know how Snowball goes!

He fails to understand that he was castrated and he is still hopping on poor Pinkie but I assume the testosterone levels have to die off naturally. He came home and was just as funny as ever. He is such a character! He had no ill effects from the surgery and is still my sweet little guy! When he shows no more attention to Pinkie I may let him meet Ruthie but it is just too soon today.

Getting them spayed is a great thing. I only have Pinkie spayed and Ruth and her get along great. It is just when they are both hormonal and territory is an issue. Neither one competes for space anymore.

It took rodger's hormones nearly three weeks to get out of his system and he still humped my other bunny (no longer with us) for a couple of days...it wa slike he had to get it out of his system

Yeah that is what I figured. He is just so sweet! He has already stopped spraying her. I can tell because now she is fluffy and not dirty looking anymore. He was always pristine white and gorgeous but she's been looking dingy since he started that gross habit!
