We Have Babies!!!
Well, I am proud to announce that Hazel had 2 babies.  She did great. It happened really quickly. She built her nest with straw lastnight and started pulling fur around 12PM today and between 12:15 and 12:45 she had 2 health, warm babies.
The lady that I bought her from told me that she had in the past had always had 4 babies and with one litter there was 5. Is it common for them to take a little breather in between having babies? Could she maybe go back in the box and have more?
Well, I am very happy!!!

I'm not sure about your questions...I'm not a bunny breeder and the only bun I have is a male, but Congratulations!!!

Here is the babies. I want to take a photo diary of the babies as they grow, starting with birth.

Well, they are still doing great. They have survived a night. They are more wiggly today than yesterday. I will keep you all posted on their progress!

congrats on the bunnies!! when I was younger our rabbit used to escape the yard, go and run through the bush for a few days, and then come back pregnant (I now cringe at the fact that we let her do that....I think she had three or four litters before giving her to someone that could look after her better...I was about 4!) and she used to have litters of around 5 everytime but one of her litters she only had one!!!
