advice needed for my new pet


Hi, we have decided we want a new addition to our family......... were thinking about a lizard or tortoise. Any advice or recommendations are welcome!

Research. That's the best advice I can think of . Look online at different reptile websites to see which kinds interest you.

As far as lizards go, some good 'beginner' ones are Bearded Dragons, Leopard Geckos, Fat-Tailed Geckos, Crested Geckos, and Anoles.

Just to put my two cents in, anoles need a fair bit of work and are sensitive.They are sold cheap in the pet stores and as beginne reptiles, but you should do ALOT of research!

Leopard geckos are greyt for beginners.They are hardy and eay to take care of, not too expensive and can be tamed quite easily!

How much did u want 2 invest? Beardies and tortoises require more initial investment because of UV lighting.
