How to Tame an Iguana

I've had an iguana for almost a year now and she was very calm when i first got her but in the last 6 months she has been very finicky and nasty. I am not sure how old she is but probably a little over a year. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to get her to calm down. She goes crazy in her cage when people walk into the room or look at her and when you try to pick her up, but once you have her up against ur body she calms down and usually fine for quite awhile, anyone have any suggestions??? thanks.

I find it helps to NOT punish her/him when it does something bad, but when he/she does something good, reward her/him. it works.
