My leopard gecko question.

Okay, so my leopard gecko was shedding and I decided to help her. I was curious as to whether or not it could've hurt her?

ALSO, when I put her on my bed or floor, she tries to run away. Is there any reason why? I see other people's videos and theirs don't try to run.

I would refrain from peel any shed of your gecko. You could possibly cause harm to the geckos skin.

Make sure that you check your geckos toes after shed as a lot of times shed gets stuck around their twos and they end up falling off. If you do notice any stuck shed provide a moist hide (which should already be in the enclosure) and if that doesn't work place the gecko in a plate of shallow water or in a container with moist paper towel.

As for the running away all geckos are different. Do you handle often?

i dont think youre supposed to help them.. i mean in the wild a person wouldnt help them. i get so tempted to help my iguana though

if your worried and see that she is having a little trouble, you could mist her . but definetly dont pull it off
