I read your thread that got closed and I just want to say and reasure you that nothing you said got that thread closed. People did you off topic and it turned into an argument.
Your fine hun
I've always thought that for a first time snake keeper corn snakes were the best, but I would recommend going to a reptile shop and getting someone who specialises in reptiles opinion. We went to the Koi carp company and they had expert advice there. We were thinking of getting a reptile, maybe a corn snake, but the man said we'd be better of with a bearded dragon by the sounds of out ambitions.
We decided not to get any reptile in the end, but just because we'd have to travel a long way every week to pay a lot of money for food. I also felt uncomfortable about feeding live food, even if it was just a simple cricket, I can't do bugs.
But yes, I do think that you should go to a shop and get advice, that would be best for you and your boyfriend
Good Luck
xxxx

If you still interested in a snake or any reptile go to a reptile show and the breeders will be more than happy to answer any question you have.

Let me just say, I thought the other thread was just starting to get entertaining, pointless arguments are the absolute foundation of the internet.

However I must say that personally, MY favorite pointless argument of all time has the be:

The USS Enterprise vs the Millennium Falcon, ...who would win in a fight????
