Visit the Crocodile Hunter

I just found this site on the net and thought other reptile lovers might want to visit.

http://www.crocodilehunter.com/index1.htm

The main page features a cool bios about Steve and his wife and from there you can link to pictures of little Bindi Sue Irwin their daughter. She is adorable.

Enjoy meeting the Crocodile Hunter and his family!

I kinda like the guy. He is raising awareness about reptiles and I believe he has a healthy respect for them even though his usual methods of handling them are different from most people.

I'm with tree. His handling methods are ridiculous, dangerous and unprofessional - and its only by the grace of God that he is still here. Most of his 'awareness' is just hype and scaring people into leaving reptiles alone.

While that may be your opinion - mine is the opposite. I believe this man has a real love for the animals he works with and teaches things about them that most people wouldn't know if they didn't see it on the show.

I don't think his mission is to scare people into avoiding them but I do think he is raising awareness as to how the animals (crocs/gators esp.) shouldn't be handled by just anyone. And he sheds light on the proper care for them.

Just my .02

Thanks for the link Lizgirl!
