i want to make my avator a personal pic. its says it has to be 80X80 pixels. i keep making it smaller and smaller but it always tells me this. it looks a lot smaller than some of the avators available. how do i fix this?

I thought it was 60x60

All I can think of is make sure that you have custom avatar option checked. If it's anymore technical than that, I'm useless

it is 80x80... BUT if the file size is larger than the limit it will also get rejected. As Becki said make sure custom avatar is checked.
One other thing you could try is saving it in a different format. (if you have been saving it as a bmp try saving it as a jpg or gif instead.)
