It just depends on WHEN we are looking for a Mod, some applications sit and wait, and sometimes we need someone for something and they apply at the right time. I know Scarlette was applied for a while before she became a Mod, and Fstybrt was applied for a little while and got to be one, it is all about what the site needs for a Mod so don't feel bad!
