Performance and bugs

We've just issued some changes to the forum that should:
1. make IE7 pages load faster.
2. fix some small bugs, that prevented some of the forums from working well.
We've tested thoroughly using IE6,7, Firefox and Opera, and we're quite sure no new issues will surface as a result of this upgrade. Please tell us about any problem you see fit to report.

PS.
The performance issue on IE7 is only partly solved. Our tech team have now grown, and I'm quite sure we'll get a complete solution for this issue very soon. Thank you for your patience. I'm quite sure that when it's all over, we'll enjoy a better home for our community.

When I first logged in here tonight it took a minute to load.But now it seems to be going much more faster!

I've added two minor bugs to my "fixed list". One had to do with the smilies, and the other with new registrations. Hope I'll have more good news in the upcoming days.

Quick update on todays fixes:
1. The first unread post is back online! Put it to good use!
2. We had old posts on the popular post list on the home page. It now shows links to posts only from the last two month. Keep on writing threads!

Just a note...there are still no Facts on the FAQ tab.
Im sure this is an important page for new ones. I know it was for me when I was a newbie here. Is it in the works?

Also, will there be a Search tab put on the homepage eventually?

Everything has been loading for me much faster then before

The only issue I'm still having, is that it freezes alot for me when I'm trying to load the home page. It's not a big deal, I usually just X it out and click the link again and it will load without freezing on the second or third try. I don't know if maybe that could just be because of my computer or Opera what, but I figured I'd mention it since it never happened before, and it doesn't happen to me on other websites.

Sometimes when I click on a new post in the new posts section it takes me back to the main forum section instead of the thread.

I've had this happen too. It only does this occasionally and I'm not sure what could be causing it.
