Thanks, Liz - you're a sweetheart (and smart too!).

I had to put him beside the quarter so you can appreciate just how small he is. I need to take a picture of him and the 'tiel next to each other - both babies but the 'tiel is like the incredible hulk next to this little guy!

I'll be posting more pictures as we get more feathers and more colors.

My favorite response to my parrotlet is - is it gonna grow any bigger? Most birds are full size by the time they have all their feathers but for some reason people want them to grow

I haven't even sent Mom a picture of him yet but have had that discussion with her. She kept saying "Well, he'll be as long as my hand won't he?" NO, he's a miniature! She couldn't quite grasp the concept of me going from an African Gray to something that will fit in the palm of my hand!
