Budgie help needed

hello. I have a budgie (Billi) he's about a year old, a day or 2 ago i noticed his feathers on his head were seperated and hard, like he's put gel in his hair. they look abit sore at the root
ive seen him dunk his head in his water before but the feather usually dry fine, whats happened? is he ok? im so worried

Hey!, You sound worried! I'd recommend taking him to the vet. I dont know what is wrong with him but any birds we have had in the past have tended to go down hill fast. I dont mean to worry you even more but I'd either take him to your vet or get hunting locally for a good avian vet.
