Bonnie and Clyde are doing well. They're my little buddies. Bonnie spends a lot of time pecking at my fingernails, and Clyde likes to use my head as a perch.

They keep trying to mate, but it's just not happening...eventually they get frustraited with eachother and start wing boxing.

I dunno ... I was told to get some nesting material, because the female will be more comfortable if there is a nest.... What should I use? Can I use Alfalfa or Timothy hay?

I don't know what to suggest you use, but I wanted tot ell you I am glad they are adapting well to each other and to you.

My friends dove just uses stuff that's around the house (she keeps all the n on-safe birdie stuff put away) so the stuff that she has around is safe for the birds. Enya my friends dove, seems to like the fake iv plants t hat she has. he will make nests in there
