Cool Looked like we made it!!

Thought we were doing good yesterday. Frosty absolutely refused to be handfed. Walked away from the syringe and screamed at me if I tried to talk him into taking it. If I'd had the energy I'd have been doing a happy dance! He did that at both his morning and evening feedings, the seeds had definitely been picked at, the water bowl had been used.......

Today he practically sucked the syringe out of my hand. I'm seriously thinking about getting a different 'tiel for Mom (she won't be getting it until May anyway) and just keeping this one. How can you deny something that loves you so much???

I was wondering how you'd give Frosty up!

LOL, I've read a few of your posts about Frosty and I saw this coming a mile away! Frosty belongs with you. You know it, he/she knows it, there's no turning back now!

Cool

Right now, Scarlette, I'm ready to have fried Frosty. He is absolutely driving me nuts with this constant crying! I've never seen a bird be such a baby! I've tried to convince him that I will hold him and love on him even if we aren't hand-feeding, but he just can't trust that. Now the parrotlet is picking up the crying sound, soon Henry will, and I'll be running around here with my hair standing on end!!

I need to go get another one to try to teach him AGAIN how to eat from a dish, but Erin will be here Wednesday for a week so I won't be able to do that until after they leave. Maybe Frosty will attach himself to her.......
