yes she has a mate his name is ziggy ... she is being a good mom sitting on her egg ..hope she has another one

Lovebirds will usually lay 3 to five eggs. They will lay one every other day. For some reason the lovebird is the only animal I know about breeding (I helped a friend once) Even first time egg layers will lay 3 to 5. I should say 3 or 5. For some reason I have never seen one lay eggs in an even number. Weird!

3 eggs and she is still draggin her butt ... so maybe more to come ..was over 3 days to get the 3rd egg
so we will see what happens she is sitting on them

well the 1st 3 eggs were dud's and now she is sitting on the 2nd 3 she has laid ...for some reason I think her mate ziggy is a mule he is a cross between a peach face and a black mask so it is very possilble he is infertile .. hope she stops laying eggs soon poor girl all that work for not.
