My 1st Home Made Playstand

Here was my project for today- mind you it is not just yet finished but we are most of the way there!!

It was funny while working on this I felt is if my bird was already here!

Supplies (costed around 60.00 but we have left over stuff!):


Still have to add the chains, ropes, toys, etc.

I just thought I would share with you my progress so far & will be sre to post another picture when it is complete!

Thanks... um.. I think a house out of PVC pipes may be kinda damp in the rain & snow though

(I'll build you a house if you move to MN or WI )

I just finished sanding the ENTIRE thing & my hands are completely numb from the sander! (I used #6 grit so the PVC almost feels like wood perches now!)

Thanks Steph & Jackie...

Jackie- that is actually 1 tray on the bottom, it is meant to go underneath a wash machine. It is approximately 32" wide or so & cost me 12.99 at Menards (same kind of store as home depot )

That tray was actually Chad's idea... I would have never thought about that! (& he actually foundn it on accident )
