Feather is a year old. And I've had her for 8 months.

She looks like an Easter egg! She's so cute. I had a cockatiel that was multi-colored (although not to that extent) but I don't know what happened. Woke up one morning and she was belly up in the bottom of the cage.

Does Feathers talk any? We had a 'keet when I was small that could say several things. My Dad just loved that bird. They are babysitting my daughter's 'tiel now (BeeBop - a wonderful bird that I handfed and started not to give her away!) and they are feeding him all kinds of good snacks and talking to him. They're loving it.

I have bigger birds - an Eclectus parrot (male/green) who is about 3 years old and a Timneh African Gray who is maybe 18 months. They are so funny. An Eclectus can normally talk nearly as well as a gray, and given the age factor mine can talk better so far. We certainly do have some conversations here. Can't imagine the house without them.

Thanks for sharing. I'll try to get some good pix of my guys to post.

Critter

Thank you she does look like a Easter Egg. My grandma also has a couple of parakeets and she has one that I think looks like a easter egg too. Her bird she has is a bright yellow with green on her. She is so cute. And the mate to the bird is a pale blue I got him for her birthday. Feathers just makes little whistle noices stuff like that. She's a pretty cool little bird. I also have a female grey cockatiel. I'm so sorry about your tiel. I know it had to be lose your bird.

Hope to see pictures of your pictures of your over guys soon.
