So i thought i would share photos of what has been keeping me busy these days. Ive been handfeeding three baby cockatiels.
Their FINALLY starting to eat a bit of solid food so pretty soon i get to cut a feeding i cant wait lol. for now i get to sleep from 2 AM to 10 AM wich isnt that bad. before that i was feeding every 4 hours without sleep(THey were pulled a bit late as i was going to let the parents rear them but they killed one of the babys by overstuffing it. I dont think were going to let the parents breed again as this is the second time theive done this. This time i caught it early but no vets wanted to see it untill tuesday and it happenned on a friday. Even with gentle massages and warm water the crop didnt go down and he died the morning of his vet appointment

their now in their larger adult cage as their more in control of both flight and climbing. its adorable to see them play with toys. My babys are growing up way too fast lol. Its both a blessing(as soon ill have to feed them less often) and a curse(As i see them are my babys and pretty soon they wont be babies anymore)
