The PPS is fighting a legal battle against the county and they are losing. I've been hearing about this situation for about a year now but I believe the battle has actually been going on since 1998. It is a very sad situation and due to legal bills they are being forced to sell their birds.

If you could help by sending an email of support and protest they would greatly appreciate it.

The story is long & confusing but very sad. You don't have to read the whole story but there is updated info as of today.

I only got through the first couple of pages and I already want to go out and there and kick some hiney! Unbelievable that this stuff still happens this day and age. What are they worried about that people might start eating parrots for Thanksgiving instead of turkey. Geez!

Btw, the form e-mail that you can send goes out to a bunch of "important" people. (Gov of CA, senators, county jerks, press & etc.)

Maybe if we bombard them with e-mails they will do the right thing...
