Pheasants?

Hey all. I know when you think pet birds, pheasants aren't usually the first ones to come to mind, but since I have one, and I'm fairly new here, I was wondering if anyone else kept pheasants or similar birds. My guy's a male himalayan monal pheasant (Lophophorus impeyanus). He's actually an indoor pheasant and has free roam of my room. He also get taken out for walks and gets time to relax in the backyard. Here's some pics of Rupert at various stages as he grew:

Thats pretty much what he looks like now, although I hear his face is starting to bald some more (I haven't been home in a few months). He's maturing now, so in a few months hopefully he'll look like this:

Hey!

It's been some time since I saw pics of Rupert! I can't wait to see him as an adult! Well, you know I kept pet geese, ducks, chickens and turkeys a long time ago, but they where outside birds. LOL. (and I think you are the only crazy person that takes a pet pheasant for a walk! LOL).

You should post more about your other pets too, you have some interesting ones (and there are a couple of rat fans around... talk about your girls and post pics!)

A farm by me has an Emu

That's cool to have a pheasant. I've never known anyone to own one. Sadly, the only one I have is dead.

I keep quail... exceptionally messy little birds. I couldn't imagine having them free roaming around the house, even a single room.
