Quaker

I just found out that I am going to get to adopt a quaker parrot. The lady I am getting him from said he was getting aggresive toward her other birds and needed to find a home for him. I hope to hear more about him tomorrow. Hopefully I will be able to go pick him up this weekend.

Hmmm quakers are okay. I'm not a big bird fan so I'm probably not the one to talk tho lol. We took one in for awhile and he was cute at times but so annoying at others. They are beautiful tho.

Oh! I love quakers ! We had one where I work named Harley. He was in the bird room the same time my macaw and my boss's macaw were there together, and he picked up everything they said. Talked like crazy. And when we'd get ready to put his food in each morning, he'd do the cutest little dance on the bottom of his cage.
They're great talkers, and so cute, and just the right size ... congrats - I think you'll really enjoy him !!

I am so upset. I got e-mail on the quaker this morning. Somehow there was a mix up on where we lived. I thought she was from Missouri, she thought I was from Texas. Needless to say, I will not be getting the quaker. She will not ship, which I don't blame her. But, it just busted my bubble. I was so looking forward to a new baby.
