Rocket & Sky
Here are my two budgies. One is a female (baby blue) named Sky and one is a male (darker blue) named Rocket. They are both around 2 and a half years old. Rocket is my little joker and a social little birdie. Sky, however, is a little grumpy and camera shy, people shy, everything shy! I try to pet and play with her but she just gets upset That's why she always seems to be in the same position in the pictures hehe. I hope you like anyways!

I have an album if you would like to see a few more pictures. Check it out here

Hey, she's a GIRL. She doesn't have to move if she doesn't want to!! Haven't you ever felt that way?
They are really cute little birdies. I'm sure you have lots of fun with them. I like to just listen to the smaller ones jabber and squawk. (Not quite the same as a big bird squawk, huh, Sharon & Jodi?)

Boy oh boy - you got that right ! A girl at work and her little sister each got a budgie a few weeks ago, and she tried complaining to me today about the squawking, I just gave her "the look" - to which she replied "Oh yeah - oops!"
I'd like to have a budgie or 2, but Greg wouldn't even consider it
Keep the pictures comin' - meanwhile, I'll go click on your link to see more.

Thanks for the compliments all. Yes, their sqwacking does get a bit annoying but I can only imagine what the bigger birdies would have to say

Oh what gorgeous budgies!!! They are soo pretty!
You mentioned that they chatter a lot- budgies tend to talk so fast that it's impossible for us humans to pick up the words they are saying.
Have you ever taped them chattering - then played it back really slow to see if they are saying words and phrases?
I know a few people who have done this - and then were totally shocked that their budgies were actually speaking words!
Budgies are up there on the top of the list as far as best talkers and some of them have *huge* vocabularies!
It would be an interesting experiment if you had the time!
