I'm really jealous too!!! I would love to have a large bird in my home someday! The ones at Pet Supplies Plus are almost always super friendly because everyone plays with them all the time... I love the cockatoo's. I was thinking of Jodi's Toby the other day when we went in to PSP to play with the small animals and birds when this little parrot of some kind layed down on the bottom of the cage and lifted his wing and fluffed up his feathers to allow Ben to scratch him more efficiently! LOL (I don't think I'd ever buy one from a Pet Store though... FYI.)
Kay, I bet you can't wait to cuddle with Sapphire!!!

I emailed Wendy to ask her if Sapphire is trying to perch yet & she forgot to answer that- but here is what she did say:

Sapphire is friendly and outgoing. She and Hercules are the ring leaders. They know what they want and numerous ways to get it. Remy is more independent and more of a loner. Sapphire thinks everyone should pet her and she does not care who or what she steps on to get the attention she knows she deserves. She is also an excellent player, she loves toys! And she loves to eat her formula. She will probably wean last as she still eats more formula than the other two.
It is hard to get her picture because she runs towards me and won't stay still if she can see me! |

He he, she thinks she needs to be center of attention... Kristen (my oldest) will finally have some competion!! LOL
It is also great that she loves people so much - that was music to my ears!! I soo can't wait to have her home!!

She is adorable! It sounds like she is quite the friendly birdie! Believe it or not...September will be here before you know it...kinda like how July is getting here!! Haha...Only 2 months and you will have your little baby home!

I just got another email!! She is finally perching now! 
She is the only of the 3 to still lay down to sleep as she doesn't perch through the night yet.
She will still wean in September as originally expected... her sister (the oldest of the 3) will probably wean early in August!
