Wanted to show you how Eephus looked the night I brought him home. He hadn't had a bath in over a year, and his cage was too small ... he smelled bad too.

Yikes! Big Bird! Still looks cute too me, but I don't know where to look for the dirt.

It's hard to see the dirt - but the condition of his feathers was just horrible. Looked like he'd been thru a hurricane. We gave him a bath, and he looked like a completely different bird ! His feathers were so dull, now they're so glossy - his feathers are just beautiful.
What a privilege to share space with this creature - I thank God every day for bringing us together.

When I first saw Eephus's "before" picture a few months ago I thought that he would have to molt out to get his feathers back to good condition. Boy was I wrong!!! All he needed was a good bath. What a change!!! I'm so glad you took the "before" pictures so you'll always be able to tell how far Eephus has come.

Sharon, you're doing awesome with your fid. You should be VERY proud of Eephus!!
