Will this harm the birds????

I have two birds, an africian grey and a quaker. Their cages are in the rec room which of course has the big screened TV. I close the blinds and turn the room light out about 8:30 to 9:00 at night and I open the blinds and turn the room light back on about 7:30 each morning. They even say night night around 8:30. The problem is no big TV after 8:30. Would it harm the birds if I turned the light out but kept the TV on at a low volume to watch? I do not cover the birds. Thanks for the help.

I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem, I go to bed at very random times every night and therefore so does my cockatiel (and my computer). He's healthy and happy. I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem for your birdies.

No, birds will just go to sleep when they get tired. They nap throughout the day, sometimes while other birds are screaming. A little TV won't hurt them.

When we were little we had a cockatiel and we never really put it to bed.. his cage was always partially covered, so he could goto bed when ever he wanted, i dont think us kids running around ever bothered him much, im sure the tv on at night shouldn't bother your birds, they might like the extra time spent with you in the room
