Helping Dogs in Haiti

I'm sure there are many people wondering about all the dogs {and other pets} in Haiti who are lost, injured and in need. Rescue efforts are naturally with the poor people who are living in this horrible devastation right now. Soon the surviving pets will be able to be helped also. I have found some organizations that are waiting for the word to get started. One is bestfriends.org They helped many animals to get rescued and sheltered during the Katrina disaster. You can follow them on facebook. Change.org is a good informational site also. Any other thoughts?
Prayers to all in need,
Opal & Rascal

I wish I can do big things to help. Recently, Japan now needs us after the horrific quake and tsunami they had faced.
