Anything like a ferret?

Are there any rodents like ferrets? Or ones that can be trained to walk on a harness and not be totally scared? I know rodents are eaten and ferrets eat them...so they're not gonna be like ferrets. Are there any rodents or other pets out there like that? I was just wondering...

I wonder if you could leash train a rat? They are pretty intelligent critters and make great pets.

I've heard of that, but my mom thinks rats are gross! They kind of are...I don't like the tail...Are there ones without tails?

I want a kitty cat. My mom doesn't like those either...

Nope, I already tried with that one. She was attacked by her mom's dog when she was little and she doesn't like their smell or getting licked. She turned down a free trained dog with all supllies. She's crazy!
