I honestly don't know if anybody on PT has any, I know at one time there were a few of us that had some (me included). I had a mating pair, that we had to find a home for along with their pups as we are moving overseas

I have a mating pair and 6 boys and 3 girls. They make awesome pets and are the friendliest creatures. When my babies were born this last litter I didn't handle them very much but they sure are very tame and love the attention.

I was consindering Degu's but you don't see them too often in my area. I am not sure if they are required to be bred or sold under a USDA license here now either. Many species were added to the list since monkeypox. I have never seen one in person, only through the pictures here.

I used to have 2 pairs and their offspring. They are great pets. I love the weeping sound that they make.
