Getting a Jird - Paw Talk

I think I may be getting a jird!! Hunny hasn't exactly said yes, but he is no longer giving me a vehement NO and he agreed to go with me tomorrow to see them!!

She said that one female is smaller and seems a little more friendly. We're going out with friends to see Ice Age tonight and are going to stop by to see them on the way - turns out she lives like 5 minutes down the road - and then if he decides to let me get one I'll go back Saturday and pick her up.

I only want one - cause they're both female and everthing I have read says females should be kept solitary.
