I got a spiny mouse!! =)
I've been wanting spiny mice for a while and I finally got one today!! 
Sadly they only had one left so she'll be alone for a little while. The petstore will call me when they get in more babies.
I've named her Isis and she's pretty shy but not aggressive or anything. She really likes her tomato-shaped chew toy for some reason and even sleeps with it  .
I don't have any pictures yet because I want to leave her alone for a little while so she can settle down. I was going to wait until tomorrow to post so I could include the pics but I just had to share my excitement!

I finally got some pictures though it was really hard . Sorry they are so blurry...I guess the outside of the tank was dusty. I cleaned it, though, so maybe I'll take more pictures later.
And this is one I took last night...she was hiding from the camera:
She always runs right over to my hand but won't allow me to touch her for more then a second and won't take treats from me yet. Maybe when I buy some mealworms she'll like those .

Today I put her in an excercise ball which she seemed to enjoy and then I let her run around the bathtub. She runs right up to me but is afraid of my hands .
