Minnie Aka Houdini

Right so here is the story:

Mum came running into my bedroom at about 5.45 this morning saying that there was a mouse or bird in her room. ( she is totally petrified of mice ) So i walks in there and Dad ls gingerly peering underneath the chair in their room. Whos there??? Minnie my jird. How did she get there??? Her cage is in my room, it wasn't open and the bars are close together so she couldn't get out through the bars... Hummmm.. now she is in a make - do bin cage.. i dont know what to do.. please help

Oh, by the way, i found evidance that she had been running around under my bed, i have leaves under there (drawing them for art) one of them is missing (probably eaten) and the other has HUGE holes and bite marks in it..

I am glad you managed to find her before something bad could of happened. She must of enjoyed her little adventure!

Check the cage, because if she is small...there may still be openings that she can get out of.I know, because I have mice and hamsters and even rats get out of cages before, when I assumed they were too big to fit thru.

Yeh, that is the plan. I have founbd another cage out of the garage that has smaller bar spacing. They grow to be about the same size as a average rat (not a HUGE one). And yeh i bet she enjoyed her adventure.
