Rattus rattus
A friend of mine keeps lots of species of exotic rodents. Here are a couple of his Black Rats. They usually live in an aviary, but are in a display tank because we took them to a Wildlife Trust exhibition

Those are the only really black black rats I've ever seen and I've been trying to do some research on them xD They're mostly steel or agouti.
